Americana for your canivore
We booked early dinner seating, after ordering our meals we enjoyed a cob of warm, sweet, freshly baked corn bread. The buffalo wings were spicy and succulent. I highly recommend the blue cheese sauce for the buffalo wings. It's creamy, rich and tangy enough to compliment spicy buffalo wings. Plus it serves to cool your palate, which is great you prefer mildly spiced food. We both ordered half serves of ribs, one lamb and the other pork, and the serving is pretty big. However we found both dishes well seasoned, lightly smoky, tender and so perfectly cooked that it seemed a crime to waste a morsel! Mentally noted that one needs to bring a serious appetite to Blue Smoke. The only downside I could find, was the lack of finger bowls, or damp hand towels, to clean your hands with between courses. As there's no escaping it, this is finger food, and it did get pretty messy! Bookings are essential as the venue is somewhat small, and busy. I think that this is what carnivores might imagine is dinner is like in heaven!
