Part of the Murray Street Pier development, this bustling waterfront eatery offers a casual cafe-style lunch and more upmarket brasserie-style dining in the evening. Boardwalk tables at the water's edge overlook the Sullivans Cove and Salamanca tourist precinct, or for a more formal experience the same menu is available inside the lovely Waterline Restaurant dining room.
In the cafe, an Australian beach theme befits the culinary efforts on offer - namely fresh Tassie seafood and top-notch local wines. But there's also a dynamic international edge that keeps diners on their toes.

Were they kidding?
I have had bad experiences with this restaurant in the past and have heard some other friends discuss their terrible service but the food was always quite good so I decided to give them another try. The service was fairly mediocre at best we weren't offered water and had to request a bottle during our meal which I found quite strange, when the bill arrived I discovered why. We were charged 75c for a bottle of tap water!!! I can't believe they were serious! We also wanted to bring a cake and they would not allow this because "the cake needs to be delivered in a refrigerated van"!!! What an excuse. I will never eat there again.
