Using grain-fed yearling beef, Victorian lamb, organic chicken and fresh vegetables, this charming Thai restaurant delivers traditional favourites and unique specials, including the Blue Orchid duck and panang bug. The service may be fast and friendly, but the utmost care is taken with the meals - the special red lamb and special massaman beef are cooked for no less than 15 hours to achieve a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, and there are six varieties of curry, ranging from the very hot to the sweet and creamy. Runner-up for the Best Thai Restaurant in Australia award - judged by the Thai Restaurant Association of Australia - it's not hard to see why Caloundra's local has won over so many diners, with its large range of Thai flavours and boutique beers and wines from Australia and overseas.
