On first impressions you might write off Blue Orange as being yet another typical cafe, quaint for coffee but otherwise unexciting. Take the time to sit down and dine and you'll find this Bondi eatery is full of surprises. Grey banquettes and luxuriously oversized orange cushions make for refreshing surrounds in which to sit and look over the menu. The food is as good as it sounds. Warm salad entrees with blue cheese or duck are perfect. Satisfyingly original mains burst with flavour. The stunning food is matched by seamless service, which completes a dining experience that is simple, elegant and without ever being seen to try too hard, effortlessly cool.
