A cheap eat ensconced in the Glenelg waterside hub of Moseley Square, Blue Ginger Cafe is especially appealing given the vast net it casts over various Asian culinary traditions. Never starving its diners of delicious options, Blue Ginger runs the gamut from Chinese to Thai to Indonesian to Singaporean cuisine and beyond. Indeed, the menu is packed to the brim with well-known noodle, rice, soup, salad and stir-fry dishes like nasi goreng, red curry laksa (in seafood, chicken or vegetarian varieties) and lemongrass chilli chicken. Even more enticing are some of the exotic delicacies, such as the seasonal green mango salad and the coconut jelly dessert (coconut and jelly in the same dish has got to be a good thing).
