Blossom Thai exudes a modern tropical ambience with brightly-coloured orange and lime-green lampshades, lotus flower paintings and glass frontage that can be completely folded away to reveal Toorak Road on warm evenings. The cuisine is mainly pad Thai-style dishes, interspersed with spicier dishes such as gaeng massaman (rich spicy curry of potato with pineapple and peanuts) and the signature Blossom red prawns (king prawns cooked in a combination of fresh chilli and egg sauce with spices). Desserts have an international flavour with sticky date pudding and tiramisu on offer. A location opposite the classy Como centre and close to Chapel Street shops makes Blossom Thai a busy lunch spot, also popular for dinner with moviegoers at the nearby Jam Factory.
