Not Quite Nigella - "It’s a cold, wintry night that brings us to Bite Me Burger Company, and one in which we’re pressed for time having spent the half half hour looking for a park in Paddington."

Mini Burgers with a mighty punch
The burgers were reasonably good, of good portion size and rather creative. The store was a bit too glary due to the excessive use of red so take away was a good option. Overall, the food was nice.

The BMW of burgers - everything is extra!
There is no doubt the burgers are the best I have ever tasted and a lot of thought and care has gone into the menu and produce. However after the novelty has worn off don't know whether I want to have a $15+ burger with $4 chips and then have to pay $3 for still water. No chilled tap water was provided - think that is a bit grabby which was a shame.

Burger heaven
I have finaly found what I am looking for. A truly FAB burger. I ate a bloody Mary burger which was delicious! My friend had a wagyu truffle, which I also tasted and was yummy.
I thought the service and staff were great and loved the attention to detail. Our chips were served in mini shopping trollies, crayons to doodle with were on the table and when we requested the bill we received a spoon of jelly beans!
I am taking a group of friends to eat at my new fave during the week.
Can't wait to try the mini bites! Looking forward to Darlinghurst shop opening as I live closer.

Admirable new burger joint
Not being fans of communal tables, we'd almost opted for a takeaway. Good thing we didn't as we would have missed out on the surprisingly great service.
I tried the "Great Australian Bite" minus the beetroot - beetroot was not a default option in the take-aways I'd grown up with.
The buns are made for Bite Me by Sonoma, they have a chewy exterior which helps them hold together, a point of differentiation from other gourmet burger joints which are often let down by their choice of weak dusted bun.
The "Great Australian Bite" is the cheapest burger at $10, but well worth it considering the quality of the meat and bread. I'm looking forward to trying the King Island beef burger and the Wagyu with truffle.
The service was impeccable with an attention to detail that is often missing from other finer restaurants. We had a BYO 6-pack with bottles taken away as soon as they were finished, new bottles opened and even an offer to chill the remaining beers!
I didn't understand the reason for communal dining, as there's more than enough room to have built in tables along the walls with service coming up the middle. I guess it's much better for groups of 4+ in such a narrow space.
Highly recommended, there is a focus on the quality of the ingredients and obviously on the service. I hope they do well.
