Its former life as a corner newsagency is rather uncanny, since Bistro Two Dozen plays its cards as a small cellar bar, bistro and takeaway spot with such flair. On the corner of Rathdowne and Kay Streets, this eatery clocks up a menu of modern Australian foods with a few international accents here and there. The nicely priced fare includes beef short ribs with an Asian herb salad, salmon with wasabi puree and pork belly with crabapple sauce. Yep, this bistro means business.
