The Bistro Restaurant stands as Newcastle's oldest restaurant, having been a mainstay on the city's eating scene for more than 45 years. As such it has seen several dynasties of management come and go in its time, today resting in the capable hands of owner and chef, Neville MacDonald. He has created a relaxed, elegant atmosphere for his line of fine dining, which includes fresh local produce and a wine list with more than 200 drops from which to choose.
