The closure of Adelaide stalwart La Guillotine was a massive blow to the city's culinary landscape; luckily, Jacques and Christine Naudin are back with their latest ode to French cuisine.
As you would expect, the menu reads like a greatest hits of French cooking. Expect to see escargot (pan-fried with mushrooms, garlic, shallots and herbs), Bearnaise sauce with steak and duck liver pate.
Of course, the biggest highlight - among many - is the chocolate and Grand Marnier souffle. This quintessentially French dish is the perfect balance of ethereal texture and decadent flavour. Order on arrival or when you book to ensure one is set aside for you.
