Bistro Bruno


Named after former owner and chef Richard Bruno, this sleek bistro has only been on the scene since mid-2008 but has made quite an impact during that time.

Sitting slightly removed from the hustle of Darling Street, Bistro Bruno exudes a classy and casual vibe without pretension. Modern Australian cuisine with a distinctly European twist is the fare du jour at Bruno, courtesy of head chef Ben Palmer. An English native, Palmer cut his culinary teeth in the gastro-pubs that have come to epitomise British cuisine. Expect this experience to show through in his intensely flavoured yet always balanced food.
