A favourite
This is a regular place for me to eat on Victoria Street without a doubt. Minh always remembers a face and takes the time to come and say hello to regulars. The place has fantastic food with the popular special of salt and pepper calamari. It's to die for especially with the sauce that comes with it, another favourite is the mangolian beef that comes out sizzling on a hot plate. Noise levels are better now there are acoustic panels installed. It's a great place for a great meal and at resonable prices. A recommended place to visit!

A shame.
I had no expectations when going in as this was my first visit. The food turned out to be very nice, however the service and atmosphere was very poor. With 5 of us dining, our entrees and mains all came out at different times. One person was finishing their mains while another was starting their entree. The noise levels in the upper dining area were unbearable, making conversation impossible. One table of 16 had brought in bottles of spirits, which I'm pretty sure aren't covered by a BYO licence, and this added to the noise. Staff did nothing to stop people re-arranging their tables and making it impossible to get through. All in all, a shame. Good food, but not worth the nerve-grating atmosphere.

Best Vietnamese in Melbourne!
Binh Minh is no doubt my favorite Vietnamese in Melbourne - and I have been to many many restaurants! Salt and pepper squid is divine, especially with the special 'sexy' sauce that accompanies it. Had most items on menu, all fantastic. Service is great. And if you are there for someone's birthday, make sure you tell the waiting staff, as they will bring you a special birthday surprise! Highly recommended to all!
