Bimbo Deluxe

The atmosphere is rustic and charming, and the food beautiful and cheap at this ultra-cool Fitzroy haunt. There are $4 pizzas on weekdays from noon to 4pm, on Sunday-Thursday nights from 7 to 11pm and Saturdays from 7 to 9pm (though excluding Fridays). If that's too confusing, come in anytime - the pizzas are good whenever you're eating. Get stuck into the absolutely perfect pizza while basking in the light of the huge, glowing bambino that announces the restaurant outside. Toppings are simple - but simply delicious - with offerings such as taleggio, potato and rosemary or haloumi and green olives. The rooftop garden is divine in the warmer weather.

Bimbo Deluxe
This place packs out every night of the week!
The pizzas are amazing, I mean... as if you're going to be expecting world class food when you're only paying $4 for it.
Personal favourites are: Nacho, Calabrese, Proscuitto and some new one that I cant remember the name of.

Great range of drinks, decent prices, and fantastic atmosphere and decor.

This and it's sister bar, Lucky Coq are my absolute favourites.

bad service - no thanks!
Served at the bar upstairs by a bar tender who didn't have the manners to say hi back to us. Not going back!

worst pizza
This place may be cheap but the pizza is roadhouse quality-cheap,nasty out of the jar tomato sauceand a pizza base that is worse than pre made one bought from a supermarket.
if tourists from Italy saw this they would be amazed that "Melburnians "actually eat this.

Fantastic pizza!
Was on a pup crawl Saturday and stopped in at Bimbo's not even being hungry. I took one look at the pizza going to another table and knew I just had to try some. I tried the Caeser pizza and the taste is running through my mouth as I talk about it! It was fantasic! Three others on my table ended up trying different pizzas and we all loved every single bite. A good deal for $4.50! The lanterns gave a good atmosphere and the service was friendly and fast. Recommended to add to all pub crawls for a feed.

$4 pizza
Say what you will about the crowd who go there at night but you leave the pizza out of this! I remember when the old Punters Club got taken over by this lot, there goes the neighbourhood we said, and yes, people line up to dance there now on the weekends but I challenge you to find one of the complaining locals from back then that hasn't been in for some of that $4 pizza love. Can you even buy this much haloumi for 4bucks? Yum!
