Older than a lot of its clientele, Big John's Pizza Cafe has served hearty Italian fare to Bondi locals since 1985, and now is one of three Big John's enterprises in Sydney. What looks like a modest suburban pizzeria is actually a hub of traditional and gourmet flavours, such as the Bondi Special, featuring shredded ham, pineapple, cabanossi, fresh mushrooms and mozzarella cheese; and the Sofia Loren, packed with chargrilled eggplant, marinated artichokes, kalamata olives, goat's cheese and mozzarella cheese. It's open till late every night, so get into those toppings!
