The name means short black in Portuguese, but Bica is more than just an espresso bar, serving up an extensive menu of tasty comfort food for the seriously hungry as well as the merely caffeine deprived. Bica kick-starts the day with a brekkie menu of classic favourites and a few surprising extras (savoury mince with toast, anyone?), following onto a lunch menu of hearty meals. The baked goods are a highlight, with sticky cakes and sweet treats baked on the premises. The cafe's hours are extended on Fridays, when they branch off into an Italian-inspired dinner menu.
