Not happy but will give the benefit of the doubt and give it another try
My pumpkin soup was very tasteless, though I did like the all you can eat salad bar, definitely good value if you get the extra salad option.
My main problem was the staff. We were given one piece of bread each, which was not enough as I wanted to dip mine in my soup. I ordered some more and they said no because they were 'running out'. It was 6pm on a Friday night - how could they already be running out?
In my opinion this shows either lack of organisation or stinginess (the bread is free). I would have been quite happy to buy more bread.
I was also walking down an aisle between tables to the salad bar and a staff member started coming down from the other direction (after I'd already started) and instead of moving aside to let me through he glared at me and said I should have gone around the other way. Very unecessary and made me feel unwelcome.
The decor was quite cool, and the concept of cheap comfort food.
I will probably give it another try because I may have just been unlucky with the certain staff on that day and the meal I chose (Pumpkin and Potato Soup).
