Serving reliable, familiar Italian-style pastas and mains, this is a family favourite. Located opposite Manuka cinemas, it's a great spot to grab a meal after a movie.

BYO - Not quite right
Our group of eight were squashed onto a table for six. Barely enough room to place the bottles we brought. I would point out that if this were a late booking, beggars can't be choosers, but we had booked early in the week. he staff were quite quick to serve alcohol, but slow to take meal orders. My entree was not delivered. Our mains were of small to adequate proportions and were of no note - bland to good, as were the desserts.
When we had finished, we asked for some port glasses as we had brought two half bottles of port. We were told, having ordered our $600 worth of meals and drink, that they could not allow us to open the port as they were not licenced for it. Despite my specifically asking if they were BYO at the time of booking and being told yes, the owner told me all staff included the exclusions when asked - ie I was a liar and could do nothing until offering to allow us to drink them if I paid a significantly higer corkage.
Don't waste your time being squashed into a place that displays class, but is mediocre at best and if you do, for Gods sake, don't bring anything but wine.

Bland Bland Bland
My sister, a friend and I went to Belluci's on Australia Day evening. To say we were dissapointed in the food would be an understatement. I paid $33 for a Risotto with Balmain Bug dish, unfortunately the risotto has absoultely no flavour and the Balmain Bug contained one miniscuel amount of meat. I cannot remember the last time I needed to add salt to a meal. My sister got a chicken dish which was minimal and also tastelss, she ended up having to order baked ficcacia as she was still starving. Our friend ordered a salmon pasta dish, she too was very dissapoined as the dish had no flavour. I felt bad as it was I who had recommended the restaurant having been to Belluci's at Dickson which I thoroughly enjoyed.

No More
Booked lunch with family. Service was good, atmosphere relaxed, but food a real let down. The calamari entree was OK but nothing spectacular; the main Penne Belucci, "a favourite" as indicated on the menu, was served with overcooked pasta, and the veal risotto ordered by a family member was crunchy!! I can't believe how basic dishes are so easily ruined!

Regular
My friend Julia and I are regularly going for lunch at Belluci's probably 1 to 2 times a week and are constantly amazed with the consistency of the restaurant. We love going there and are always telling our friends to go. Also the service is always great and you always leave feeling satisfied and really wanting to go back.
