The Bellhouse Cafe is one of the few waterfront cafes in Perth, sitting on the Mends Street Jetty on the south side of the Swan River. A mere five-minute ferry ride from Barrack Street Jetty, the Bellhouse delivers magnificent views across the river to the city and Kings Park. Built from native hardwood, the interior is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and wicker chairs with an impressive iron candelabra overhead, creating an atmosphere of riverside indulgence while capturing the cooling breeze. Open all day and evening, with a menu that is strictly seafood (there are two main meal concessions to the red meat eaters), the Bellhouse is fully licensed offering beer, local wine, champagne and standard cocktails. It also doubles as an ideal spot for coffee and cake while waiting for the ferry or taking in the view.

Gorgeous setting!
We have become regulars at this beautiful restaurant perched on the water's edge. The view takes my breath away each time we visit...
The staff here are some of the best in Perth. So courteous, friendly and informative.
The food is always delicious, in particular the lime brulee tart. You can't go past it if you are a citrus lover like me!
We will always come back to the Bellhouse- a trusted favourite place to dine.

Awesome night out!!
Hubby and I tried out this place four our 5th year anniversary, not really knowing what to expect. However we had a really great experience! I ordered the prawn/scallop linguini in mushroom sauce but asked them to take out the italian sausage pieces (which they did with no probs). Hubby ordered the Red Emperor which was cooked really well and was delicious (but my dish was better! haha).
The food came really fast, which was good coz we were starving! And they were attentive to us all night long...continually coming up to our table and asking if we needed anything, if we were enjoying our meal etc :)
The only iddy biddy downside was where we were seated, right in front of the front door! I mean, we were literally about an arms length away from the front door. At first I wasnt too happy about it, but they said they would close one of the doors so that it wasnt 'too' revealing. It wasnt a huge thing, but it would've been nicer to be not so close to the front door :)
Overall a great experience and will definitely be going back! =))

I'm wary of restaurants in stunning locations, because that's usually all they have going for them - they don't have to try very hard. This was an example.
I'll never forget biting into a frozen oyster at my anniversary dinner. The plate was obviously prepared earlier and brought out for our order. The little buggers were solid. We left immediately.
