Chermside isn't yet a shining beacon on the dining skyline north of Brisbane, but this modern Italian restaurant is doing more than its fair share to change that. The philosophy here is to preserve the tradition of Italian food in every dish served, and it definitely shows. From quality produce such as freshly shucked oysters to classic dishes such as terrina di verdura, the passion and dedication to their craft is evident in every morsel of food presented at Bella Cosi.

Beautiful Evening
This was my second time at Bella Cosi and it was a wonderful evening, the menu had changed since I was last there so it was good to have something new to try which comprised of a good range of Italian food, the atmosphere was very pleasant and intimate which made the night. The food came out in sufficient intervals and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Would recommend to my friends and family for an overall good night.

My third visit to Bella Cosi was once again wonderful. Every time I have dined there (lunch and dinner) I've been impressed. Food was delicious and service is excellent. Delighted to recommend this wonderful Italian restaurant to others.

impressive? I think not
Went for dinner on 29/01/10, Didn't seem extremely busy, had some empty tables. Seated and waited for 25 minutes for someone to take our drinks and meal order.. Then another 50 minutes before someone came to check whether we wanted desert or not.. Explained still waiting on entree (Ciabetta) Entree finally brought out 55 minutes after ordering, of course the entree came with the mains.. Meal was very nice, however not anything to rave about. In the end staff discounted the meal, but the total experience left a bad taste in our mouths. Would not recommend or visit again.

Impressed
Our third dining experience at Bella Cosi was once again pleasing. The decor is modern and open plan with a private dining room available. The staff are prompt and polite. Our food for 4 people was generally good. The medium/well steak was perfectly cooked yet again. Our bruschetta starter needed improving - 3 slices of tomato on toast - very plain and dry. Desserts are delicious. Be prepared for corkage. Slugged $20 per bottle BYO. Location is back street Chermside not Hastings St Noosa!
