Bay Hong continues the legacy of Tinh Tran, who set up the lauded Bay Tinh restaurant in Marrickville. Now granddaughter Hong Tran is maintaining the family's reputation for fine food with her very own venture. Taking over the old RQ space, Bay Hong has a crisp, white, linen-draped look - a sophisticated atmosphere that's at odds with the bargain prices on the menu. The menu goes beyond the staple pho and rice paper rolls, experimenting with flavours in such dishes as sugar canes wrapped in prawn paste; or prawn and pork rolls with zesty orange.
