One of several bustling Bavarian beer halls popping up around Sydney, The Bavarian Bier Cafe Parramatta brings gallons of German cheer to go with the beer. Only the finest German and Austrian beers are consumed here, including the classic Lowenbrau Original and the Hofbrau Dunkel dark delight. With big beverages you need big bites to match, and the menu here certainly doesn't disappoint on those counts. The schnitzels are the obvious stars, available in milk-fed veal, pork, chicken, Swiss, Zigeuner and Jager incarnations. The apple strudel would be a suitable follow-up if you've got some room left in your tummy.
