The vibe is homely yet vibrant, with paintings of clear aqua waters and stark white buildings set against sunburnt walls. Outside the intimate courtyard is framed with lush greenery. The pasta dishes are the draw card here, with the pasta made fresh on-site every day. Try the veal and belly pork meatballs tossed with rag pasta, tomato soffritto and roast capsicum, which can be served as a main or an entree. Of the entrees, the grilled sensation pear with marinated labna, rocket and brioche drizzled with truffled honey is a great alternative for those keen to step away from the traditional garlic bread/bruschetta style starter. Excellent Service and Food! A delight!
We dined here to celebrate a special day for my daughter, and we must say that we were very impressed.
The service was very friendly and attentive and very prompt. The food was simply sensational!
I had the fish, which was divine! Other guests at our table had the lamb and the duck. Again, all very impressive! The sides were delicious! And the desserts were sensational!
What impressed me most, was how well they looked after our young children, by happily accomodating for our son who had allergies and providing a lovely dessert variation for our daughter! The kids loved their experience here too and really enjoyed dining in style!
Overall, Barolo is a fabulous restaurant and we will be back! Very highly recommended!

really nice
Really nice, we decided to go 2nd time after first time was terrible (please read the bottom of this review for our first experience),
This time we decided to follow exactly what is written in the description Meal wise)on this page in the above advertisement for this restaurant and it was GREAT. We got many entree sized dishes and sampled about 6 different dishes the first was the suggested veal and belly pork meatballs tossed with rag pasta, tomato soffritto and roast capsicum, Billissimo it was great mouth watering. and Roast fillet of Angus beef on a potato and artichoke Florentine, these were the highlights, of course desert is better but that is a given. I recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good consistent food its not too full on, and its not simple either... Its perfect.
Also I must say when we were there in February 2009 there was 2 chefs 1 guy (Ozzie) and 1 girl Asian or spanish/ asian and they were the same from Feb 2009, SO I commend Borolo for keeping stable employees.

Amazing
It has been a while since I have had such a great dining experience. It was some of the best food I have had in years - the flavours were amazing. Everyone on our table was impressed with their meal. I highly recommend the Barolo pasta!
