With the earthen tones and comfy banquettes in the stylish bistro dining room comes a certain cosiness. The menu contains a combination of hearty pastas, warming classic comfort food, as well as some share plates, salads, stir-fries and delectable mod-Oz offerings. For entree, the tangy Asian-style prawns and scallops are excellent, while the salt, pepper and five spice calamari curls with dipping sauce and pickled cucumber prove to be a winning twist on a pub classic. Pub meal enthusiasts need not go without their rump steaks and chicken parmas, but some sensational and well-priced pastas, and some tantalising mains including chicken coq au vin and braised bushman's lamb shank, brighten up the menu.
