Coffee and waffles: they are the only two things you'll find on offer at this trendy little hole-in-the-wall cafe. Luckily, both are exceptionally good.
Another crusader trying to bridge the gap between good coffee in the northern beaches and good coffee in the rest of the Sydney, the diminutive Barefoot Coffee Traders is certainly doing its fair share of the legwork. For its size this cafe pumps out a mammoth amount of freshly-roasted Fair Trade organic Toby's Estate. The whopping nine seats on offer inside seem to be no deterrent for eager Manly locals who have been starved of good espresso coffee for too long.
The beachside location makes this a perfect one for an early morning pick me up or a lazy post-surf afternoon, when the waffles served up here truly come into their own.

The best coffee and more
Great coffee served by helpful talented staff. Whether you have an espresso, a latte or something in between they care about every cup they make and most importantly, that you enjoy it. The staff know what all their regulars like to drink and address everyone by name. Open every day of the year (we don't stop liking our daily coffee hit because its a public holiday do we?) the service is cheerful and the vibe fun. I love their hot and cold chocolate drinks and while the only food is fresh Belgium chocolate covered waffles they need offer no more .. they're delicious! Summary: Keeping it simple and doing one thing very very well!
