Despite the unassuming decor and no-frills attitude, this cafe produces some of the best-value eats and tastiest coffee to be had this side of Marrickville Road.
The folks at Bar Valente just plain get it. A great cafe isn't made by 'designer' antiques or knick-knacks adorning every available surface. What really matters are the basic tenets of all hospitality: a good product and good service. In this respect, Bar Valente runs rings around its competition. Head here when you're after service with a smile, a hearty serve of bacon and eggs and a strong and rich Toby's Estate coffee.
