Set up in William Street by Italian boxer Luigi Coluzzi in the late '50s, Bar Coluzzi introduced Sydneysiders to a beverage unlike any they had ever experienced before - true, rich espresso coffee that was about as far from instant as one could imagine. This long-serving cafe is an institution and still one of the premier coffee haunts of the Victoria Street strip. While there's little room inside, the sidewalk out front - especially on sunny weekends - can be absolutely heaving with patrons sitting on stools and small chairs, enjoying their high-quality cuppas.
