Bangladeshi cuisine is one of the most underrepresented in Sydney restaurants, but if Banoful's popularity is anything to go by, this may soon change. Located in Rockdale and Lakemba, the Banoful restaurants are simple and homely places that serve complex and exciting flavours reminiscent of ultra-traditional street foods. All the usual suspects should satisfy less experimental eaters (butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, naan breads and more), while exotic specialties like lamb's brain masala are sure to stir the senses. Just try resisting the sweets and lassi on display - it's virtually impossible.
