With a dining room set in dark wood and pungent reds, this contemporary Thai eatery offers diners all the staple dishes of Thai cuisine. The wok is put to good use by chef Charoen Sroyphet who experiments with his flavours while remaining loyal to the tenants of traditional Thai food. With a love of both lamb and duck, anything Sroyphet cooks using these two ingredients promises to impress.

Consistently Great Food & Service
As locals to the area, my husband and I have been to the Bangkok Thai Hut on many occasions for dinner and have introduced others to the restaurant through recommendation. This would have to be one of Coffs Harbours best places to eat (if not the best). The appearance of the restaurant itself is stylish and romantic. I agree with the above user comment about the professionalism of the waitresses/staff. They are such friendly girls who really take their job seriously and do what they can to ensure that your evening is special. We have also had the Chef come out on a few occasions and ask us how the food was. You can see that he genuinely cares. The food is by far the best Thai we have ever had. The chicken jungle curry (medium) is a must have for us, as is the cashew beef and the satay chicken entree. For dessert they sell this amazing deep-fried macadamia crumbed icecream ball with caramel topping which just compliments the meal and cools down your mouth - if like us you enjoy your meals with a bit of bite. And just when you think things can't get any better.. you'll be surprised at just how affordable the food is here. Real value for money. We just love this place and hope that it will stay in Coffs for many more years to come. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The best Thai restaurant in Coffs
We did not know what to expect when me and my friend walked into this restaurant for the first time. It was really great from the time we were given a table till we left after a great dinner.
Simply the food was just great...both of us enjoyed it to the max! Customer service was outstanding and the general vibe about the place was really good too ..I've never experienced this level of service anywhere :-) I've got to say the waitress was very friendly and professional at the same time.
We even had a good chat with the head chef when he went around the table asking people about the dining experience. It was obvious everybody enjoyed dining at this great restaurant.
Finally there is a nice bar closed to the dining room for those who love a drink or two after a busy day. We ended up staying in Coffs for two nights on the way to Noosa and on the way back one night and we went to Bangkok Thai Hut for diner every single day :-)
Next time I m staying in Coffs, I will definitely go here.
