Around the invisible border between Balmain and Rozelle sits Bangkok Spice, highly visible among a cluster of Asian eateries. It's a Thai restaurant for the locals who don't feel like cooking or would rather catch up with a friend over tried-and-true Thai flavours as well as lesser-known exotic indulgences. In the former category you can put the popular soups, curries, stir-fries, salads, noodles and rice dishes we all know and love. In the latter sit the enticing chef's specials like macadamia prawns, the Flaming Talay (fresh seafood stir-fried in a spicy sauce with garden-fresh vegies), and banana flower salad with tofu, chicken or prawns. Add some black sticky rice for dessert if you're extra peckish.
