Under the deft guidance of Greg Pieper, Bamboo was awarded a coveted hat in the 2008 Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide. Located in the plush surrounds of the Santai Hotel, the food on offer has a strong emphasis on the local with dishes such as the sweet pork cheeks, Queensland scallops, herb gnocchi and shaved fennel and baby carrots, or the crisp skinned local white fish, green apple oyster broth, baby zucchini with finger lime pearls and apple salt.
Desserts up the ante with offerings such as the Valrhona chocolate nemesis with blackberry ice cream, and the wine list offers an inviting array of both Aussie and international drops.
