This self-proclaimed "gluten-free oasis" puts its money where its mouth is, providing a menu that is 100 percent gluten free, and easily tinkered to suit vegans, vegetarians and others with specific dietary needs. Located in the southwest inland town of Balingup, just a short 45-minute drive away from Bunbury and Busselton, this charming bronze gallery, gift shop, cafe and gluten-free supermarket offers a lot more than your average rural cafe. Sourcing fresh organic produce and using three kinds of Biobean Coffee's Fairtrade Organic Coffee, this cafe wears its health, and its social and environmental conscious on its sleeve (or menu, perhaps). The menu contains everything from vegetarian curry puffs to Seychelles Islands seafood curry, and slow-cooked kangaroo in berries and red wine.
