Bali Grill

The motto at Bali Grill is 'good food, good wine, great body'. That's why there's a whole section of the South-East Asian menu devoted to low-carbohydrate and low-fat dishes. The flavours are spicy and full of life and the Indonesian dishes are particularly good. The de celeng base manis (sweet soy sauce marinated pork) is a scorcher, and the Javanese sambal and nasi dishes are also winners.

A wonderful Mothers Day with our children
We had dinner at Bali Grill for the first time last weekend - Mothers Day. We have a 3 year old and a 7 month old and the staff were just wonderful. Special mention to Sarah who was filling in for her mother who owns the restaurant - Sarah was terrific with our kids and helped keep our 3 year old entertained while we enjoyed a delicious dinner. Complimentary champagne with strawberry pulp was a lovely touch for Mothers Day, as was the Mothers Day raffle. We dine regularly with our 3 year old and have never come across such a terrific kids meal - a little more epxensive than usual but beautifully presented and lovely food and he enjoyed it immensely. We will be back very soon.

Bali Grill is brilliant!!
Bali Grill is one of my favorite resturants. Whenever I have to enteratin interstate or interational guests my first port of call is Bali Grill. The food is fresh and great quality. The taste is sensational. The staff are friendly and take customer service to a new level.

As a regular I would suggest the Pepper Pork, Tropical Duck & Coconut Beef.... they are simply brilliant!

A bit overpriced but nice atmosphere
I ate here once and remember walking away after my meal still feeling hungry after forking out $100 for two smallish main courses, a couple of glasses of wine, a beer and a bowl of rice. The food seemed overpriced for what it was. I hear rave reviews about the food at Bali Grill but am yet to be convinced...however it always seems really crowded and buzzing so they must be doing something right!

Rude
Rude service, we were told to leave as the table was booked, but we were not told this from the start. Expensive menu, eg steamed rice was $12. Slow to serve drinks. A shame, as has great potential and food was tasty.

Good Food / Crowded
We had a big table and only had lots and lots of entrees, but they were all very good, and served hot. Food was delivered quickly and spread easily acorss our big group (16). Drinks orders were slower and the area was crowded with full tables and it was difficult to move around if you needed to get out.
