This little bakery/patisserie/cafe is tucked away down a side street off the pedestrian mall at Bondi Junction, and it's already attracting its fair share of locals in the know, who are all keen on picking up a fresh, warm empanada, a sandwich and a quick coffee or a house-made olive sourdough to take home. The interior is bustling and warm, with wooden furniture and a menu written up on a big blackboard, but the focus is firmly on the hot stuff coming out of the kitchen. The vegie pie will satisfy vegos, but there are more than enough options for meat lovers, too. The eastern set is also lapping up the sweet treats here, and it's not hard to see why.
