Baja Cantina

The owner of this cute South American eatery calls his cuisine 'Californian Mexican', and with the American-sized portions of traditional spicy favourites and healthy serves of sangria, it's easy to see why.

A dinner never to forget
I went to dinner at this restaurant on a friday night with my BF. It was by far the most disastrous night out we have had.We were seated at 7:20pm. Our order was not taken until 7:55pm. We ordered one entree and 2 mains. About half an hour later we were served our sangria and 2 entrees. The nachos looked like something dragged out of a swamp. We were then told that the food was not ours and that we would only pay for the mains. At 8:45 we had still not been served our mains so we left. I could say that the service was terrible but that would mean that there was some sort of service. The only positive thing about the night was that we were not charged for the sangria or the entrees that we did not eat. Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely not! When you go out for an evening meal one wouldn't expect to have to go to McDonalds for a cheese burger meal afterward.

Best Nachos I've ever had
I came here first over a year ago when I wanted to try a new restaurant. I got the beef nachos and have never ordered anything different ever since! They are the best nachos I've ever tasted and the serve is huge! Will continue to come back.

Best Mex in Sydney
Great California Mexican. Best I've had in Sydney and the portions are very generous. Huge selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Check it out.
