Palm-filtered light playing gently across fine-art-adorned walls, covered by a high-arching atrium ceiling. These are the surrounds you can expect at the tongue-in-cheek Bad Habits Cafe. Anyone who thinks that the Convent Gallery, sitting comfortably on the crest of Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens, may be a bit too clean-cut for them will soon be disabused of such notions.
The Mediterranean-style cafe offers light snacks or more substantial meals every day for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The farmhouse beef fillet pie is about as wholesome as it gets here, while the wine list and wicked selection of cakes are definitely not holier than thou.
