With its eye-catching yellow, purple and brown colour scheme, Baan Latsamy Thai Restaurant is a stylish addition to the M Centre. Replacing former haunt JusQytly, Baan Latsamy concentrates on traditional Thai and Laotian recipes designed to titillate the senses. With curry and stir-fry combinations available in chicken, beef, pork, squid, lamb, king prawn, seafood, ling fish and duck varieties, diners are not starved for choice. The menu also contains Laotian spring rolls, spicy salads, and noodle, rice, and vegetarian dishes.

mmmmmm
The first thing I noticed was the limited menu, it had many common meals that you would find on a thai menu, but there were only a few that stood out. The crispy wrapped prawns were delicious, the lightly fried wonton pastry complimented the juicy prawns perfectly without any unwanted aftertaste. I also had the warm salad with king prawns and chicken. This dish supposedly has roasted crushed peanuts and a gourmet salad - But all they served was a single sliced tomato and cucumber on 3 pieces of lettuce and with no nuts in sight. But the Prawns and Chicken was delicious - juicy and flavoursome; the saffron rice also complimented the dish well. I was expecting a little more for the price, but at $32.70, I would go there again.
