What a meal
Was a little disappointed when I asked what white wine was available to be told that they did not have a license. So even though I drank water with my meal it was one of the best I have had in a long time. We shared a huge sushi/sashimi platter and started with agadashi tofu, some kind of balls stuffed with octopus in a dashi broth and a plate of mixed tempura. What a surprise when the final bill only came to $120. It is common to pay that at an average pub for lunch now so I would rate this place as top of the heap. I downgraded a bit on service but really the service was good just a little slow because it seems quite a few people ordered a sashimi plate and there was only the one sushi chef.
