The Esplanade is hard to beat for people-watching or just staring contemplatively into space. Situated across the road from Balmoral Beach with bi-folding glass doors and windows open to the street, the cafe is exposed to the passing parade of families, tourists and beautiful beach-goers. The menu features a mix of standard cafe fare, beachside essentials (ie fish and chips and cool drinks) and restaurant-quality mains, which are supplemented by the often excellent specials. Be sure to get in early to secure a great table and take advantage of the good coffee and broad selection of snacks to while away a few leisurely hours.

Breakfast
Took visitors from London yesterday. What an awesome experience. Great food, service and value, not forgetting the breath taking views.
There must be a change ownership as last year the atmosphere food and main staff left alot to be desired. Thanks for a great breakast. Gillian S
