Kitted out with a plasma screen, wireless internet, sleek open kitchen and comfy suede banquettes, this ultra-cool venue has everything you could possibly want from a casual corner cafe. The Mediterranean menu offers light bites; from panini and focaccias to platters, woodfired pizzas, homemade pastas and tapas - though the portions are so generously sized, platters of nibbles for two could easily satisfy a group of three. Servings are just as substantial if you order from the 'meals' section too, but you won't want to share the delicious Greek-style lamb salad with seared lamb tenderloins marinated in lemon and herbs with tzatziki dressing. Nor will you want to part with a morsel from the sesame-crusted calamari - and you'll want to hope you still have room for the lemon myrtle creme brulee or a sweet treat from the dessert tapas.

Love it!
I like to go to Avenue Nine regularly. It's a comfortable relaxing restaurant with attentive service and fantastic food. There is a dish to suit everyone here. Prices don't break the budget and the value for money is excellent.
