Mod-Oz meets Italian flare at Avanti at Witchmount Estate - a wonderful place to come for a dining experience which utilises some of Victoria's freshest produce. Entrees range from freshly-shucked oysters to calamari with spinach, olives and a goat's cheese dressing.
Mains are equally elegant, with dishes such as lamb rump with a walnut, pomegranate and lemon sauce; the fresh fish of the day is their ode to deft execution and simplicity, and sure to please. Friday nights are particularly special as some of the famous Witchmount wines are offered to clientele while live jazz plays in the background.
