The menu similarly offers unexpected combinations, with dishes presented like pieces of edible artwork. The confit of quail and blue lagoon tea-smoked chicken provide a taste of the finer things in life.
The fact that this high-class restaurant is situated within the casual surrounds of Caloundra RSL is just another pleasant anomaly. Be sure to leave room for dessert. If it's too hard to choose between saffron coconut parfait and caramelised peach, go with the 'wicked' tasting plate and have both.
