Augustine's on George is the preferred lunchtime spot for the corporate types and pollies who work the big end of town. But even if you don't have an expense account, Augustine's is well worth a visit for a special occasion. Spectacular seasonal dishes are delivered to your table by white-gloved waiting staff. Add to this the superior wine list and the reassuringly quiet ambience of the dining area, and you should have reasons enough to cop the extra expense of Augustine's fine dining experience.

Best restaurant I've been to in a long time!
The food here is out of this world, the wine is devine and the service is exquisite. Not to mention the atmosphere was just perfect. Dinner by candlelight - perfect way to spend a Saturday night.

Possibly the best restaurant in Brisbane
I love Augustines. I love the small intimate setting, I love the efficient, knowledgeable waiters, I love the wine list.
I took my partner here on impulse one night after hearing so much about it. We were immediately presented with sparkling water, our menu and a discussion on wine.
We ordered a beautiful Grenache which the waiter kept at his table and regularly topped up our glasses. We also ordered the beef which was cooked perfectly.
It was approximately $120 per head for three courses each and a good wine. I would return tomorrow if I could.
