Tyrone's menu offers and extensive range of homemade pasta, risotto, fish, veal, lamb, chicken, vegetarian and seafood dishes to be enjoyed within the floor to ceiling glass panelled dining room or under the stars alfresco-style.

Attivo North Beach
My wife and I visited Attivo yesterday evening for dinner. Previous comments have described the atmosphere, which is good. Most pleasantly the restaurant does not have the echo which is present in most caf?s. The floor is carpeted and acoustic panels have been fitted. The ambiance of the room is pleasant.
We ordered garlic pizza bread to share as an entr?. My wife ordered pollo sierra and I ordered a rare fillet steak. This was on the menu as a 200 gram steak and the advice was to order it cooked medium or less. With a price tag of $45 I was looking forward to a rare treat. In my experience it is very rarely that you can get a good rare steak in a restaurant. Regretfully, last night was no exception. I had thought that if the steak was 200 grams, it would have been sufficiently thick, being fillet, to sear the outside and to leave the inside red. What arrived though was in fact two thin pieces of steak cooked, in my estimation, medium to well done. Most disappointing. I didn't complain, as that would have spoilt the evening for my wife. Oh, one last thing, the garlic pizza bread when it arrived was in fact another type of bread from the menu, herb with parmesan cheese. My wife enjoyed her meal.

Very impressive
No wonder this restaurant keeps turning up on "top 10" lists around the place. I was lucky enough to dine here on Saturday night and enjoy the excellent service and food. I can highly recommend the beef carpaccio and the oysters. The king prawn pasta was surprisingly spicy with wonderful flavours throughout and the pollo vodka had ingredients that complemented each other perfectly. Entree size mains as an option is always welcome and were of a perfect size. Dessert with a glass of sticky was a lovely end to the evening. The staff are professional & friendly without being intrusive. I'd go back every night if the waistline would allow!

Would definately return ...
Went for early dinner, got there at 6.30pm having booked, front of house found our booking and took us straight to our table, handed out menus, came back 5-10 mins later for drink order, then returned straight away with drinks and took food order, service was attentive and quick, meals were delicious, wine great, sweets were to die for, and we had finished by 8pm in time to go into elsewhere for a drink. Would deffo go there again, when we left the front of house said goodnight to us using my name, this attention to detail made the night for us, brilliant, hope they do very well.

Loved it...
Despite being the first people in the restaurant and a little earlier than they normally take bookings we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. An offer of drinks and our wine opened to breathe we were provided with an informative review of the menu. The staff were lovely - attentive without being overbearing. Drinks were constantly refreshed. The antipasto was nice - fairly standard but well presented. Hubby had the chilli squid salad which was beautiful and very tender. For mains it was the Wagu beef for him and the seafood risotto for me. The wagu beef was beautiful though pricy. Hubby said he'd go for a pasta or some such next time given the price but did say it was perfectly cooked. The risotto was fabulous - great amount of seafood, lovely and hot with chilli provided as a side and perfectly cooked. Our waiter recommended the Warm Marsala Sauce with frozen cheesecake which we shared. It was amazing and I will be having that one again!!! We will be back there next weekend with friends.

Worth a visit
We dined on a Saturday and I went for the signature dish of pollo sienna which proved outstanding quality. Other guests had a variety from the menu were similarly pleased. The warm & efficient service was a real plus feature - we were advised to order swiftly as the venue was busy but there was no delay. One minor groan, $6.50 per bottle corkage is a little excessive and they'd run out of the much touted tiramisu.

Definitely worth a visit.

Finally. Attivo - what a jewel!
My husband and I turned up without a booking on Tuesday night, the place was pumping - who is this busy on a Tuesday night? We were greeted by well-presented friendly staff who were more than happy to give us a table at short notice, nothing was too much trouble.

The atmosphere is wonderful, as is the décor, not to mention the restrooms. The food was first class, the seafood risotto definitely a highlight of our evening, packed with fresh seafood and flavours to die for. The deserts we were told are all made by the chef on premise and we certainly weren't disappointed. Attivo, you have our business again and again. Well done!

A restaurant worth bragging about!
Finally Perth has a restaurant worth bragging about! This place has great food with so much to choose from. There is always something to satisfy your appetite with anything from pasta to fish to steak to salad. The food was lovely and fresh and a special mention goes to those pizza breads! Homemade desserts were a treat, again with a great range to choose from.

The staff were delightful and nothing was a problem. They were all well presented and eveyone was very friendly and accommodating.

The atmosphere is fresh and exciting where even a visit to the bathroom (and a look in the giant mirror) is fun.

Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended. Will definitely be seeing a lot more of us, whether it's sitting at a table or picking up takeaway. Keep up the great work!

From the moment you walk in the door at Attivo you are greeted with friendly attentive service, even in the busiest of times. The food is amazing. The lack of attention to detail (untossed salads and the like) is more than made up for by the amazing flavours. My only qualm is having overheard one of the chefs a few weeks ago discussing how much the owners dislike children in the restaurant. I no longer feel comfortable taking my young boys there just in case one of them plays up. Such a shame considering this restaurant is so wonderful for the whole family. Still I look forward to returning with my grown-up friends. Highly recommend the perfectly cooked garlic prawns and the amazing lemon tart Attivo- a must for north-of-the-river foodies.

An eye-opener
We arrived there not knowing what to expect especially being sadly disappointed at the last dinner outing we had a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was inviting from the moment the door was opened and we were greeted and shown to a good table. From then on the service and food was excellent. The dessert needs a special mention, tiramisu was the best I have ever tasted in Perth. All in all it was a fab night and I would strongly recommend this restaurant to all.

Brilliant!
A last-minute reservation request was welcomed, and we made our way to the restaurant immediately, where we were greeted by two lovely girls who served us all evening. It was our first visit to this restaurant and it was a pleasant surprise to find it so close to our new home. The place was absolutely chockers, which is great going considering it was a Tuesday night. How they managed to fit us in, I dont know - perhaps we managed to nab their last table, luckily! The service was 110% and the food was delicious. Great Italian food at a reasonable restaurant price. This place also does takeaway - lucky for us, as we were in search of a good local take-out restaurant that serves healthier dinner time meals than the usual fish and chips or burger joint. Wine list was fabulous with great choice of beers. The restaurant itself has lovely clean, crisp decor, and all the tables are situated far enough away from each other to not have to listen to people sitting next to you. The atmosphere was tops with a variety of patrons, from families with youngsters, to elderly couples dining quietly. Toilet facilities were extremely clean with a brilliant mirrored foyer so the ladies and gents can check out their appearance in private, and in full! Every restaurant should have one! We were so impressed. This restaurant will hopefully stay around for a long time. We love it and will be regular customers in to the future. PS. Great menu - so many things to choose from, it leaves you lost!

Pleasant Surprise!
Looking for somewhere new to try in the Northern Suburbs, we stumbled upon Attivo.

We managed to reserve a table at very short notice on a busy Friday night and arrived to a very friendly welcome.

Staff were very professional and service was excellent.

The menu was great, with a good selection of dishes in both entree and main sizes.

A children's menu was not available, but the entree-sized spaghetti bolognese was a hit with our 6-year-old, who ate every mouthful.

The garlic pizza bread is delicious with a generous serving enough for 3-4 people.

Great decor, very funky. Can't wait to go there again.

Spot on
What can I say apart from the food was excellent, the staff were charming, the dining experience was refreshingly relaxed. They are definitely getting my business again.

The staff went out of their way to help my pregnant wife, ensuring that her dietary wishes were met. As they are a fairly new restaurant, I wish them great success.
