This vast seafood restaurant caters to the hungry hordes in the Quest apartments above, as well as the ever-grateful North Ryde locals, who are proud to have a 'city standard' restaurant within their local area. The smart space is decorated in beige tones with touches of aubergine, but the real visual highlight (beyond the plate, of course) is the lush view of Aussie bushland from the outdoor terrace. Atlantis serves seafood - virtually every type you could think of - cooked a myriad different ways. There are a couple of steaks on the menu and the chefs can always scratch up something for vegetarians, but the menu is firmly targeted at those who live for the salty tang of a slippery oyster, the oily richness of a salmon fillet or the fiddly challenge of a half lobster. For those who can't choose between the various decadent oceanic fruits, there is a hot and cold seafood platter that can serve two to six people.
