Although not exactly a huge dining hub of Sydney, Lidcombe still has a few restaurants holding the fort for the hungry locals. Atithi Indian Restaurant is one of the key restaurants in the area, with a huge variety of regional Indian dishes on offer, including Gujarati and Punjabi foods and Indian-Chinese specialties. Some examples include the Atithi special Dabeli bread (an Indian-style burger), bharela ringana (eggplant stuffed with Gujarati spices) and the goat Mughlai (a goat curry with cashew, butter, cream and tomato gravy).
