Don't think the organic movement is all about tie-dyed t-shirts and Birkenstocks; it's about the food and the quality. This little organic outpost nestled in the popular Belconnen Markets offers a variety of tempting options, such as the "big vegan organic breakfast" which offers homemade baked beans, pan-fried marinated tofu, and roasted vegetables and roma tomatoes on Turkish toast.

Shame about the staff
I always enjoy the different types of cafe food that I get at As Nature Intended, and I often take my young kids there for breakfast as a treat to play in the park as well. Sometimes I get a really nice young man who is quick to serve and always does so with a smile, but often I get a younger girl who never smiles and is very rude and abrupt. I often also hear her swearing behind the counter, and so do my children which I don't appreciate. Perhaps the cafe needs to train their staff better, or hire people that actually like serving customers!

Yum!
It's hard to find breakfast food that doesn't revolve around eggs, in some form or another. As Nature Intended does this with friendly service and a great atmosphere - and it's inexpensive.
Outside tables are great for families - kids can run around in the courtyard while their parents eat - and the comfy couches are fantastic.
I've had a variety of meals which are plentiful and cheap, and the cakes and coffee are sublime.
