This homely pizzeria is decked with red-and-white chequered tablecloths, a sure sign Italian food is available. There's a great dining area outside on the deck where you can enjoy the Park Road atmosphere. Pasta, salads and gelati are also available.

Great pizzas
This place has some of the best pizzas in Brisbane. I have enjoyed every single one that I have had there. The only downside is that consistency is lacking - the quality of the pizza really depends on who has made it. The shape of the pizzas are great for sharing - they are rectangular in shape.

The name says it all
Our first time at the restaurant, before arrival made a reservation, upon arrival was okay. Location fantastic (near Milton train station and in popular Park Road strip), ordered focaccia 50cm for starters. Waiting time was reasonable. When arrived, asked if could be cooked a little longer as was not ready (cheese was not melted and still in strips). Was better when returned.
Then ordered capricciosa, chicken & pineapple, and pizza Romana 50cm. In the meantime, it was a little chilly so asked staff if outdoor heater could be turned on - the first staff member could not work it, the second couldn't either and the third played around some time before finally igniting gas (some half hour later, so glad we brought jackets with us).
Pizzas were ready, pizza Romana was well-cooked, but ingredients not very fresh. Chicken & pineapple okay but capricciosa was... umm... never seen a pizza like it - there was so much ham (at least 4cm) and looked so messy, not cooked. It was terrible, we asked for a fresh one to be cooked please, but when the new one returned, it was burnt. We left fairly quickly after that.
The restaurant has a few things going for it - the location, the great television screens with football playing, and the gelati looked good (but we didn't have any because they seemed expensive). Also on the menu was pasta, salad and chicken/veal choices.
But we found the service lacking, the waiters could have been more presentable (dress/hair/manners), and the food left a lot to be desired. 5/10
