A prime position, inspired menu and classy interior make this one of the CBD's best. Arintji is all about flexible eating. That means if you just want a snack and a glass of wine you're going to be as equally at home as a group that wants a three course dinner. The menu roams from Asia to Catalonia, yet it is balanced and hard to fault. The menu encourages sharing with tapas-like dishes in three sizes.

YUM!
We went down for a drink about a week or so ago but decided to stay for something to eat. Menu has changed heaps since we were last there. But definitely for the better. Wagyu burger was DELICIOUS!! Staff were great - friendly and attentive but not in your face. Drinks were served quickly and efficiently. And you cant beat the atmosphere of Fed Square on a busy night in Melbourne. All in all, for a night we didnt plan, brilliant. Will definitely be back.

changed for the worse
Arintji has chenged its concept yet again, and is no longer serving main courses. They're only offering small snack dishes (which they call tapas although most of them are not very reminiscent of Spain) and drinks. It certainly is no longer a place to go for a 2 or 3 course meal. The quality of the dishes was mediocre at best, nothing inspiring or creative, and the service wasn't great with most of the staff seeming hurried, unfriendly and disinterested. The price was not excessive but I'd rather pay more for an enjoyable meal. We won't be back.

Quick and tasty
I recently had dinner here with a group of friends. I ordered the gnocchi which was fantastic. The whole group found the food to be great tasting however the portion sizes were a little disappointing for the price. The restaurant is a modern feeling and the staff are fun and professional. It is a great place for a quick and tasty dinner.

Awful service, chewie under my table
Went to this restaurant for lunch. Ordered soup of the day because thought it would be quick to arrive. Unfortunately not. After half an hour had to get up off table to get a staff member's attention even though restaurant was quite empty. Finally soup arrived. Bread and butter arrived after a delay but no knife for buttering bread. Then felt a lump under the table, when looked under it was found to be chewing gum. This is not a cheap eatery. Would have embarrassed if I'd brought a special client there.
