Landing in Leichhardt in mid-2009, Aperitivo marks the birth of this super-stylish Italian wine bar and diner that brings something new to Sydney's Little Italy. Aperitivo - Italian for cocktails or appetisers - follows an age-old Italian tapas tradition, and enlivens it with a modern zest at this Norton Street den. To accompany the fine local and Italian wines, you can pick from three menus covering bar bites, sharing plates, and heartier mains on the regularly-changing specials menu. Of course, classic cocktails like the bellini and the margarita never go astray as the night goes on.
