Located in another icon of the Sutherland Shire hospitality scene, Engadine RSL, this bistro has been around longer than most club members care to remember. Despite this, the restaurant has always managed to maintain its relevance and keep a loyal following of customers.
The people of God's country are blessed with a plethora of dining options from this pub grub-style menu, with seafood dishes taking pride of place on the extensive list of fodder on offer. Nothing illustrates this more than the hot and cold seafood platters: a mountain of marine morsels not technically served for two but a hard task on your own.
Despite the decadence, this club bistro hasn't lost touch with its value-for-money roots, holding a free sausage sizzle every Sunday afternoon to celebrate the Aussie institution that is barbecuing.
